i love the high contrast between darks and lights.. i do find the little river a bit too pure. in my opinion there should be something in the center where the river leads to.. right now theres very noticable blobs that dont make sense to me.. I would make the area darker, as if the river goes inside a forest rich with trees.. I think this way because the river acts like guiding lines in composition.. they lead the viewer in the part where i mentioned blobs and such... anyways overall good work

edit: just noticed that it's meant to be a path lol

Thanks for the critique! You're right that the path is much too bright compared to the photo. Not an artistic choice, just me not knowing what I'm doing. 😊 Those blobs at the end of the path were supposed to be the building behind the trees from the photo, but in retrospect it probably would've been better just to have it head off into a darker patch of trees or something.

Woah! your drawing style is very interesting.. i would like to see more of these. You do draw kinda similarily to me.. my artstyle is messy, but the end result looks clean.. I'm sure you two will meet again.. i have a good friend in Japan aswell, a great way to learn about the culture. I was wondering, do you speak Japanese? ;o

p.s the best works are the ones that you give a meaning to.. this one clearly has that charm to it.
